abigailbardwell	3:52p	i woke up from the party with a scratches on my forehead and leg and the most painful burn on my thumb that's still a mystery. i was running strictly on two nodoz, three cups on coffee, no food, and an hour of sleep (7 - 8 a.m.), and i knew better than to go. i went anyway, consumed things that i shouldn't have, and freaked the absolute fuck out. the next night i spent with my mom on the island. i don't remember driving home. i don't remember the ferry ride there. we ate indian food and watched the food channel. i did some christmas shopping and watched a snow flurry because it's getting so damn cold. the christmas spirit hasn't hit me yet, but i think it's close. maybe i will feel it once i thaw out. i made butternut squash and pumpkin ravioli.

abigailbardwell	2:08a	i missed my bus this morning, so i had to catch the later-running 28. it's always filled with office workers, and everyone is swimming in the aisle by my stop. there was a woman standing next to a guy who happened to be sitting, and he had been sitting in that spot since before i got on. he took his earbuds out and chivalrously offered his seat to her. she declined, but it made me smile for the rest of the day. it's exactly 2:00 a.m., and my bus leaves for school at 8:50. tomorrow should either soar by or leave me constantly checking the time. i have lab until noon, and i assume that i'll meet with ben before my advisory meeting at 1:30. i'm sure i'll have to cut that short to get on my 3:30 bust to work, and i work six hours until close in coat check. working coat check means that i won't leave the premises until after 10:15 despite locking the doors an hour earlier, at which point i can decide to bus to a work party or bus home and spoon out my eyes. it is like this until sunday -- laundry day. tuesday is still on. i am very excited for tuesday.
